Hopeless - Colleen Hoover
I just need to point out that Hopeless is soooooo beautiful indeed, so I'm not at all surprised by the ridiculously high average rating (it did intrigue me, though).

Unfortunately, due to my biased need to search for a certain type of genre, I expected too much from it.

To set the record straight, it is a wonderful read. However, the plot for me was too predictable and cliché. I'd go into detail, but I don't want to risk spoilers for those who are planning to read this book.

I'm basing my rating off of a personal note — especially how my first impression of Holder was filled with audible sighs and eye rolls. Not good.

Still, I loved the writing style and the way the author felt very welcoming with this book. Four stars! (Not to mention I love the Acknowledgements hehe)
